Western Cowboy Cookout- Dutch Oven style with a Horse Ride*

Are you looking for a unique dining experience while you're in the area?  If so, you won't want to miss our "Western Cowboy Cookout" or the "Ride, Play & Eat Package"; either one is sure to be the highlight of your vacation!  Our caterer has had years of experience preparing Dutch oven meals, and her authentic cowboy-style cooking is second to none. 

Ride, Play, Eat Package  (1:30-6:00 PM)

The "Ride, Play, Eat Package"  offers a full afterboon of fun at the ranch.  Guests arrive at 1:00 pm for their 2-hour horse ride starting at 1:30 pm. After the ride, you're welcome to spend time at the ranch fishing, swimming, canoeing, etc. while you work up an appetite. A hearty dutch-oven dinner is served at 5:30 pm. You can even come earlier than your 1:30 pm riding appointment if you want to really make a full day of it!

Western Cowboy Cookout (4:00-7:00) Guests participating in the Western Cowboy Cookout will arrive at the ranch at 3:40 for a 2-hour horse starting at 4:00. This relaxing ride taked you through the beautiful, picturesque ranch. After returning to the barn, you will bid farewell to your horses, and are directed to a beautiful outdoor mountain setting, amongst the wildflowers and pine trees, for a fabulous Dutch oven meal which is usually served around 6:15 pm. 

The food portions are generous, so be sure to come hungry! You will not be disappointed! 

The menu  includes the following:

• Dutch oven barbecue pork spare ribs
• Dutch oven potatoes
• Fresh Green salad
• Fresh Fruit 
• Soda and/or water for beverage
• Hot scones (fry bread) made fresh in front of you
• Dutch oven Cobbler (our favorite is peach)
